- Survey and project information gathered when we visit your property and during any work we carry out.
- Website usage data such as pages visited and device type, collected through standard server logs and any analytics tools we use.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange surveys, prepare quotations, carry out and manage work you've asked us to do, submit Building Regulations and planning applications on your behalf, invoice you and keep records we're legally required to keep. We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing you haven't asked for.
Contact forms
Our enquiry forms are delivered to us using FormSubmit, a third-party form-handling service, which processes the form contents in order to email them to us. Details are held by us and used only for the purposes above.
Sharing your information
We share information only where necessary to deliver your project: with our tradespeople and engineers, with the local council's Building Control and planning departments, and with suppliers where products are ordered for you. We may also share information where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Project records, quotations, certificates and invoices are kept for six years after completion for guarantee, accounting and legal purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email kjlbuilders@gmail.com.
